I never knew about this.
Does this occur just in specific versions of the game, or is it the same with others? Never noticed that with the German ROM of Secret of Mana. :o |

Seems to be all versions. I haven't taken a look at the map yet with SOMEdit, but it seems the developers have a duplicate event trigger for the seed event right in the middle of that wall...... |

Why would they even put a trigger on that spot?
Perhaps it was something left for debugging purposes, or other shenanigans? Maybe the developers just forgot to remove it, but it's still sorta weird to see it ingame. |

I've made similar blunders in my hack, accidentally/idiotically lol. But yeah, that is pretty bad and makes no since at all, other than it was a mistake they placed a duplicate event trigger/square right above the seed there in the wall. Again, I should check first in somedit to see if that's what it is, but I don't see what else it can be from my experience. |
