You got a nice selection there already. But I can recommend Ranma½, at least. You´ve probably heard of the story before so no need to mention that, I guess.

Inuyasha is also quite good, I think. I´ve only watched the first season, though. And I also enjoy Love Hina.

Try Cardcaptor Sakura, InuYasha, Bleach, and Trinity Blood to start

Other good ones include Magic Knight Rayearth, Midori Days, and Fushigi Yūgi

I knew I forgot CardCaptor Sakura and InuYasha. But I have NEVER heard of Ranma½. Yes I am a freak but enlighten me to the premise of the story.

Decent is only an opinion. I can name a few of those in your list I do not think is decent.

Now and There, Here and There
Angel's Egg
Berserk
Hokuto no Ken

For a few of what I think is decent/good.

I hope you´ll find it watchable.

Voices of a Distant Star and Grave of the Fireflies are the two best things to come out of Japanese animation.

Needs more Cowboy Bebop. Bebop stands alone as one of the few shows that actually establishes a concrete world and operates within its own predefined rules. There's no bending of the laws of physics or characters suddenly getting stronger in a pinch, and after seeing so many instances of that, it's something I can really appreciate. The dub's also fantastic.

If you're into giant robots, I can't recommend Shin (Change!!) Getter Robo/Getter Robo Armageddon highly enough. It picks up almost immediately with fast-paced, high-powered action and does not let go until they've just about blown up the solar system in the end.

I also enjoyed what I saw of Aura Battler Dunbine, but I'm missing some of the DVDs and so I haven't seen it to completion. It's also been a fairly long time, and I don't really remember what was so good about it.

I'm currently in the middle of Turn-A Gundam (fansubs); it's decent enough, and a bit of a breath of fresh air if you've seen a lot of Gundam properties, but nothing especially groundbreaking. I like the character and world design, though, and it'll be interesting to see how it ends. Next on my list are Gundam X, Gungrave, and New Getter Robo, providing I can find downloads for New Getter :/

Armageddon= <33. Neo's slightly better i think.

Dunbine is awesome and the mecha designs alone are awesome. Plot's pretty good too. I reccomend watching Wings of Rean if you like Dunbine. Its pretty much a dunbine sequel.

Turn A wins solely on Corin Nader being awesome. Oh and Harry Ord.

New Getter robo is BADASS. after you watch the first DVD your brain will explode from the amount of hotblood and awesome.

Gundam X is extremely underrated and probably one of the best Gundam series all around.

but gideon your taste in giant robot series is again awesome

I'm afraid I can't really recommend Giant Robo. It's got its awesome moments, and there are quite a few of them, but an awful lot of it left me scratching my head going "What?" It felt like the middle of a series - that we were supposed to know everything about Big Fire and the Experts before the series started, and the ending is one massive freaking cliffhanger (one that will probably never be resolved.)

It's alright, but it's not nearly all it's cracked up to be.

I do not remember being confused at all in the series despite the subtitles being very rough english. I do not remember a cliffhanger either. I do remember everything being wrapped up pretty well.

First thing, I have to say it, Dragonball is decent. For its genre, anyway. It's DBZ that falls into the "blah" category, and GT just plain sucks.

Ignoring that bit of argument... Let's see, what have people already said that I can comment on?

GaoGaiGar

Also GaoGaiGar FINAL.

Hare + Guu

(AKA Jungle wo Itsumo Hare nochi Guu)
Also Jungle wo Itsumo Hare nochi Guu DELUXE
And Jungle wo Itsumo Hare nochi Guu FINAL

On the matter of things which haven't been mentioned (or haven't been mentioned clearly enough):

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Welcome to the NHK
FLCL
Azumanga Daioh
Genshiken
Love Hina (but avoid the dub like the plague)
└Love Hina Christmas Special
└Love Hina Spring Special
└Love Hina Again
Mahou Sensei Negima!
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi
Outlaw Star
Pani Poni Dash
Rozen Maiden
└Rozen Maiden Traumend
└Rozen Maiden Overture
Shakugan no Shana

Also, I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this one, but.... Tenchi Muyo.
At least the original/main continuity.

To be clear on what I mean by that last statement... Tenchi Muyo was originally conceived by a man named Kajishima Masaki. The anime company AIC decided to turn it into an anime, with Kajishima Masaki in charge.

They made two OVA series, which did pretty well, so they then decided to turn it into a TV series, with a completely different continuity, and without Kajishima Masaki's involvement. Then they made a couple movies, another TV series, and then a third movie. All without Kajishima Masaki.

Then, fairly recently, they made a third OVA series, continuing from the original, as well as a TV series set in the same continuity but focusing on different characters, and they put Kajishima Masaki in charge of these.

To be fair, I'm not sure if it was AIC who made the decision not to involve Kajishima Masaki in alot of the stuff, or if Kajishima Masaki decided not to bother with them since they weren't going to be set in his Tenchi reality. In either case, the quality of the Tenchi works that Kajishima Masaki did not work on is lower than that of those he did, partly because the Tenchi universe is quite large and many things had not yet, and still haven't, been revealed. But enough of that rant, I'm going to break down the Tenchi material below so you know what to watch and what to maybe not watch.

Main/original Kajishima Masaki Tenchi continuity (The good stuff, this is the list I'm recommending):
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA 1&2 (released by Pioneer/Geneon as "Tenchi Muyo")
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA 3 (released by FUNimation as "Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki")
Tenchi Muyo! GXP

Other stuff (ranging from "blah" to fairly decent/good), with the "└" things linking continuities (I'm not really recommending this stuff):
Tenchi Muyo! TV (released by Pioneer/Geneon as "Tenchi Universe"
└Tenchi Muyo! in Love (released by P/G as "Tenchi the Movie")
└Tenchi Muyo! in Love 2 - Distant Memories (released by P/G as "Tenchi Forever")
Tenchi Muyo! Midsummer's Eve (released by P/G as "Tenchi the Movie 2: Daughter of Darkness")
Shin Tenchi Muyo! (released by P/G as "Tenchi in Tokyo")
The Mihoshi Special
Magical Girl Pretty Sammy (OVA)
Magical Girl Pretty Sammy TV (released by P/G as "Magical Project S")

And keep in mind that if you watched any of the Tenchi stuff on Cartoon Network more than half a decade ago, that it was fairly cut down (for both content and time), and your memories are likely to have the continuities mixed up a bit.

Oh, and since you mentioned you like "Neon Genesis Evangelion," you should give "DUAL! Parallel Trouble Adventure" a try. It's like NGE if NGE were made by Kajishima Masaki and wasn't a paranoid, emo drama-fest. I wouldn't really call it a parody, more like a light-hearted tribute of sorts.
