Yes as the title says, sega genesis sprite ripping can be a pain the ass its about as frustating as PSX sprite ripping.
A couple of months ago I was searching youtube for a special emulator that could do sprites rips. Gens+ modifired by Goemon does that, he has this video here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YxqUXAoCow Also he was kind enough to provide me his tool. http://gendev.spritesmind.net/page-gensK.html I suggest to all you use this version http://gendev.spritesmind.net/files/gensKMod_07c.zip. Until he finds the time and a way to fix his current issue with his emulator. When your done staring at this post go out and try it if you have been wanting to do genesis sprites. It'll be mighty helpfull to those doing sega genesis rom hacks or other projects.  |
