This is an ASM hack with Wario's Dash from the Wario Land Series. Here is a picture of it in action. This is NOT fake!

Posted by A Yoshi The problem with that is that it could be one of 2 things. 1. The dust from under his feat could easily of been removed 2. The person could of edited the graphics so that Mario always looks like that. I still won't believe this unless I see it in action or there is a patch released. |

Fine. You caught me.
Bio made this ASM hack. He told ME to make the thread so it wouldn't be obvious. (April Fools joke we both played ) And we all know he can do ASM.

Oh well, all this is a hoax... in some way, the whole thing is however true. If you still don't believe me here a video of it in action:
so... here what hapenned: I was programming new move for my SMW until I realised that was april fool day, so I asked A Yoshi if he could post information about it while trying to make it look like a hoax. Sadly it didn't worked as well as I expected. meh, I will try to do better next year |

Thats better. This looks really interesting. Will the dash also effect turn blocks (and SMB3 breakable bricks if there are any?). I would be very interested in getting a patch for this if you release one. |

Bio, if this is real, here's a suggestion: Why not make it add a dustcloud behind Mario when the move is used? It doesn't really look right when he's just.... sliding like that. Oh yeah, and nice video. |

That's pretty sweet. An ASM hack like that could open up a lot of possibilities for level design. I'd really like to see this implemented in a future hack.  ____________________ |

I didn't post in this thread because I thought it was an April Fools joke and that it would be closed pretty quickly...
... but now that I know that it is real... I am seriously thinking about whenever or not I could make use of it in Undead Unrest or in a future hack of sorts. Truly... this is great! |
