Yeah, I have another problem. See, I managed to get a video onto my computer, but when I try to edit it, it's quiet. No sound. What's the problem? It works fine when I merely play it, but not when I try to edit it.

What are you using ? if you mean fceux record it again and use xvid-mp4 encoder.
http://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_full.htm

If its any other emulator check the settings for it and make sure the sound is enabled to record in it.
Heres in example of the avi xvid-mpg4 recorded video I did a few weeks ago.

Oh I see what your saying, sorry but reading some stuff wrong the past few days.
"Lack of sleep is my issue"

For the video editor...

Got some old pals who could help you out on the issue if you make your problem clear enough.

What I meant to say was that when I merely play the video, the sound's working. There's no sound whatsoever when I try to edit it.
You know what? Never mind. I think it takes forever for the audio to load. Just tried it out on Windows Live Movie Maker.

VirtualDub (I think there's an up-to-date fork somewhere...) and Avidemux are both good video editing programs, you could check those out.

Sounds like Windows Movie Maker. I'm actually looking for a more complex video editing software like VideoPad by NCH. I've seen what Sony Vegas can do, but it's shareware and I don't think I can just re-install it and run it.
