When i tried installing windows whistler build 2428 it give me an error that says
"An Error has been encountered that prevents setup from continuing Setup failed to install the product catalogs. This is a fatal error. The setup log files should contain more information" The BIOS Date is invaild how can i fix this Im running whistler on virutal pc 2007 by the way i got the iso at http://oscollect.old-dos.ru/OS/Windows/Betas/Windows%20Codename%20Whistler/ |

I know your curious about trying different brands of 2000/xp/vista/7 OS's.
But becarefull of what you download and make sure its something you need. As for the download, you might have a messed up download or the iso itself is damaged. Just by looking at the mashup itself, I highly advise you leave it alone and attempt something better like Linux. Given all that, I won't offer you any suggestions on what to use or download. If you mess up your computer by downloading random garbage, that will be on you or your parents to get you a new computer. Best of luck. |

Well i got it fixed now and it works properly i think the iso wasn't damaged or something. |
