The other day I was reminiscing about the Oregon Trail with a friend, and later wound up searching it out online. After a couple of run-throughs, I began trying to see just how badly I could cripple my party and still make it through. Since you can all see where this is going - the idea I came up with is a no-food challenge. The rules are simple: - You must only buy 1 pound of food (Necessary to leave Independence) - You cannot buy any bullets --- All the rest is fair game. So far my record is about 1300 miles. I screencapped this shortly before dying.
