Hello!

I haven't been around here in a while, but in my boredom I've been working on a lua script for SMRPG which lets you edit many values in the RAM in real-time using a GUI and the 2nd controller as input.

I hope this can be useful to people both just playing the game and fooling around and to help mod authors do things such as test items, adjust stats on the fly, test specific conditions, and etc.

You will need an emulator which supports lua such as snes9x-rr.

Overview
Inventory - Edit items, equipment, special Items and misc items
Characters - Edit each character's stats
World - Edit world-related stats and view world-related vars
Battle - Edit battle-related vars including enemy stats and view battle-related vars

Currently Working On
- System Menu which allows read/write access to the game's registers on both the CPU and SA-1
- Compacting and easing the use of the UI, merging menus and making navigation easier

Issues
- The input is still very fast and finicky, I'm working on that.
- The Item listing isn't finished yet, right now I'm writing it with the SMRPG Revolution 5.0 hack loaded but I'll soon change them back to the vanilla names. You can still see the specific Item ID's though.

Controls
Up/Down - Move Menu cursor up/down
Left/Right - Currently selected value left/right
X - Hide/show menu
B - Previous Menu
A - Action (Menu sensitive)
L - Sub-menu left (Characters, Enemies, etc)
R - Sub-menu Right (Characters, Enemies, etc)

Thanks! I've been slowly implementing things using the doc_ram-addr.txt as a guide. If anybody has any suggestions or anything feel free to ask. I'll have quite a bit of time to work on this over the next week. I was thinking of maybe coding a legitimate GUI system with draggable windows, buttons, etc instead of using the finicky keyboard and joypad input.
