The hotel my orchestra is staying at actually is nice this year, compared to the crappy Howard-Johnson Motel we stayed at two years ago.

It has complimentary breakfast, a beautiful lobby and internet access for free.

Not much else, this is kind of just a hi from Florida.

We went to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure yesterday. It was great. I went on all the major rides. Doom Drop, The Incredible Hulk roller coaster, Dueling Dragons, and Whatever the Jurassic Park water ride is called. (The one with the animatronic dinosaurs.)

Oh well, I gotta get off. The hotel has a 15 minute time limit and I'm close to it. I'll post more when I get back home because we check out at 10:45 EST.

P.S. I saw interdpth's MZM hack demo on the Release board and really wish I was home right about now to test it.

I've never been to Florida...my parents never got vacations right, they'd just take me on the same damn camping trips in Michigan year after year after year. The furthest south I've ever been is Virginia.

I went to Florida nearly 8 years ago for summer vacation. I went to Epcot, Disney World, and some other theme parks that I can't remember.

It was pretty fun. Hopefully you found the arcade in Islands of Adventure

But yeah, it was really fun. Just... try to avoid going to Epcot (That part wasnt that great

I go to Florida most summers with my dad. We just go to Destin though and play tennis and whatnot. Never been to Orlando.

I went to Cyprus last summer. Hung out on Mediterranean beaches... I'll never enjoy the gulf or the Atlantic as much again (I hate swimming in murky water with grass/seaweed all over the bottom.)

I live in Florida!

We live only about 2 hours from Disney World and an hour from the beach. It has rained in a while, though.

Anyone else who's been to Disney World go to Disney Quest?

Oh I get to go there for Grad Bash on the 20th. Heh, I guess I'll need extra money for that alone.

I live in Florida, about two hours from Orlando. I live somewhere between Gainesville and Ocala. There isn't much for me to do here, though.

Closest arcade, movie theatre, and mall are all 30 minutes away in Ocala, add 10 minutes for Gainesville.

Yeah, Florida is just a typical state. Nothing too extraordinary except maybe Disney and Universal. I just want to go to Disney Quest for free PIU.

I went to Florida with my school band about two years ago. We went to Disney World and were part of some parade or other. The weather was amazing. Before the parade, we went back in staff-only areas of the park to get ready, and it was kind of funny how insistent they were that we were not to take any pictures whatsoever. I didn't have a camera with me at the time anyway.

We had a really nice hotel, but no internet access.

I want to go back...

	I'm glad to see that you didn't chicken out because of your cold/headcold. We went to Hawaii two years ago. The island we went to was Hawaii (AKA The Big Island). The hotel was really nice, although it seemed to be in a container/barrier of wind. 	I post there everyday. Been here for 27 damn years. As for vacations, my hubby and I will be flying up to VA and then along with his brother's family, we're gonna drive to Ohio and go to Cedar Point. As for Orlando, last time I was there was for the wedding back in Jan of '06. I really want to hit Islands of Adventure since its been a few years since I've been there. ____________________

I'm generally surprised to see other Michiganians at boards, especially with people leaving the state in droves (and for good reason). I should be out of here as well right after university (beginning of 2010, probably).

OK, mentioning 2010 is a post is weird. It sounds like way way out in the future, with flying cars and teleportation and such.

Yeah, Europe rocks. I wouldn't mind living in Brittan. I like rain, and I don't mind cold, so it's the perfect place for me. Plus, English people talk cool.
