Just bought it, gonna say my first thoughts after I played a few missions. :o
Wee, Kane is back at least... Well, I know the system requirements aren't that light but still... 
Define "doesn't install". Is there an error or does the game freak at your PC's specs and ejects itself from your DVD drive?  |

It is EA.
I had a computer with mad specs over Generals and it just refused to install. I fucking reinstalled Windows. Not even the demo would work. EA hates you. |

Ziff, actually the problem isn't with EA.
It's with installshield. 
Had exact same error message with Norton Internet security on this computer. Seems like åäö get's messed up in installshield for me, and one of the files (lol läsmig.txt) contains that charcther. However, I'm going to try installing it on my laptop then transfer it to my main computer (with registery settings and everythng) and see if it would work there, seeing how it's the installer that troubles. I wonder if it's related on how osme things in my version of Win XP media center edition is in Swenglish... and Norton internet security quites with same error. Well, I got the installer running.

Well, I'm not going to bother installing that one... Even if i know how to fix the error (hex edit!)

The star I NEVER expected to see on the games was Patrick Bauchau of The Pretender T.V. show. He played as Sydney on the show and as Tratos on "Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun Firestorm". ____________________

Just finished GDI campaign, is playing the Nod one right now.
I like the game physics, and things like how troops says differently when you make them retreat makes the game feel somewhat more realistic. My biggest complaint is the music, fitting but dull. No Frank Klepacki here. And that troops have a tendancy to walk into tiberium at times on their own when stuff moves around. (who in the right mind would walk into a field of toxic crystals?)

Heh, the game is pretty much easy until third act, for both GDI and Nod. Is on the first mission on act IV, which is very tricky, especially if you want to finish the bonus objectives.

Well, the patches aren't really that major in terms of many bugs they fixed. As I said before, it's mostly stuff related to online play.
Edit: Also, the system requirements isn't really that bad for me. I just started act 1 of the GDI campaign, and I'm stuck on Langley Airfield
How can you get aircraft to shoot the turrets when the turrets shoot faster! I have the Graphics set to medium, except for animation and water detail
I'm gonna laugh whenever I see Josh Holloway (Ajay) in the game. I'm gonna start calling him Sawyer now ____________________ D: Can't think of anything original.... |

I love this game, I'm in Croatia right now with GDI. Boy is that a tough mission. It became a lot more difficult in the last two missions.
I must say tough, that this is a harder CnC than what I'm used to (Didn't play Generals). Even an Easy balanced enemy is still a threat :o |

I really can't get used to this. The base building is so different than before. The graphics are AMAZING BTW.(8800GTX FTW, yes I'm an nVidia fanboy)
But if anyone comes across any neat little tricks or interesting things for this game post them here. P.S. Ion Cannon charged. ____________________
