Last view: 962 days 		Everytime I need this board, it happens to be down. But when I don't need it, and just want to observe, it is up all the time.

I needed to check my PMs yesterday, for important information, and the fucking board was down all day. Even a huge part of today.

What happened, the fucking server? If I was the board owner I'd call them up and tell them to get the damn thing straightened out immediately.

I'm sorry, I just had to vent. That was bullshit, how long this board was down for.

mmm, I can understand the frustration too. ;

It's just that there is not much to do until either blacky gets back, or blacky hands over the keys to someone else, or the place dies. Since as it stands, I nor anyone else on the staff team have any database or file access, only admin privileges.

Kafuka was borne of ideas a handful of us came up with to make board2 better. It was supposed to be the answer to the problems this board has. Instead, blackhole89 rejected most of them and now we have Kafuka. That's the short story...
Whether or not board2 ultimately dies, a change in leadership must be made. Blackhole89, hang up the keys, throw in your towel. You obviously have more things to focus on than this little board. Stop letting your pride and ignorance get in the way of this and possibly other communities. And if you say time's not on your side, that's complete bullshit. I'm no coder but I know it doesn't take a whole lot of time to hand shit over. Or pull the plug; whatever decision you come to, those two would probably be the wisest.


Easy there "Recon9000", we know blackhole isn't very active on here and cannot do much, but give the man some sort of credit would ya ?
Last time I spoke with him, he was busy with his college work and preparing to do some other things.
I'll shoot him a message later, and see if we "could" invest into a better hosting site for the place.

I think most of us know kafuka exist so there is no need to cry over spilled milk.
That and you have a administrator position over there to keep things steady

@Luna, could you speak to one of the other lead staff and have them fully archive the site to their hdd, just in case this site goes down for more than 2 or 3 days ?
It would help and we might need to move on without black if the right people decide to start off new.

You think I haven't? I guess that's correct for you to assume that since I don't remember you being a part of my many conversations with him. Truth is, I think he did a great job in the beginning, but it just amazes me people will still defend him when he's not even around.

Look, I'm not against board2, I'm against blackhole89. If he can show up and show a little fucking initiative that he has one last ounce of respect for us all and give this place up, he can move on with his life and focus on his education and career. It just doesn't make sense why he would hold on to these ties when he has much more relevant things to do, and it speaks ill of him to not show up and hand the place over.
