I remember my password to do a little update but that's beside the point... Does anyone here have an account there that know how to use that site?

To be perfectly fucking honest with you, DA is shit in every single regard.
That also goes for the community. If you want publicity, I recommend finding some other media to display your art.

That said, I can help you out with DA since I have used the site myself. I am just terrible at explaining shit so it would be better if you catch me on IRC.

Last view: 14 days 		I can't log in right now, somethin' is wrong with the IRC chat room that I can't enter. I might as well just get rid of my DA profile, I have Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and Google+ to promote my cartoons so getting ridda DA shouldn't hurt anyway. ^^

Oh where do I even start? >:I

I'd rather not go on longs rants about it, but it's pretty much a bunch of artist who hangs there only to promote themselves at every opportunity possible and everyone bends their ass out with sob stories to sell commissions. Almost everyone is an freaking idiot about it too. (Like how every bastard ever I favourite spam my profile to advertise themselves even though I have a note sitting there saying that I do not want such comments.

Mind you, there are nice people out there on DA, but since the interface on the site is fucking horrible and the ways you can share art on DA is fucking horrible it's all a mess to find them.

I can go on forever about it, but I'd rather not. :I

Heh, your drawing is good man, its like looking at the funny pages but in a ghetto style feeling.

Seriously, when I look at it, it feels like there is tiny toon adventures mix into what you draw.

If your seeking a career in kids animation, you may want to seek help from a professional artist who could get you jump started.
You ever tried a little bit of animating ?

Hmm, if anything at all, check on ebay and see if someone might be selling paint shop pro 9 with animation shop included.
If I'm right, it should run you between 6.00-20.00 used good condition
I recommend animation from jasc/corel because its easiest to understand for beginners to novoices.

A old site called, www.gsarchives.com improved my animation skills way back in the day of 02.
If your looking for somethig more powerfull for an artist animator I'll see what I can do over the next few days.

Last view: 4177 days 		There is a lot of talent hidden on DA, but ultimately it's just proof that just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. Even of the decent stuff it's a total crapshoot what becomes popular, for instance this is award-winning and on the front page while this has like 20 views in 6 years.

My account I mostly use just for fan arts and some of my better notebook doodles, and I'm not nearly good enough (or have enough spare time) to join Concept art. I mostly stick to Worth1000. Fun and laid-back, but has a low tolerance for trolls or crap and won't hesitate to give brutal criticism.

As for the majority of DA, it's 90% poorly drawn anime and miscellaneous plagiarized crap. I think Encyclopedia Dramatica really hit the nail on the head on its analysis of DA, particularly with the article on smudge painting (that page is SFW but no promises if you follow any links)... And since CS5 introduced the thrice damned mixer brush tool, there's more where that came from.
