mapper 90 mirr 4 screen Support。common not 4 s support.
but mmc3 Individual versions are supported four screens.

Please obtain update v9.1 from the first page/first post.

There were 4 roms that were not working correctly with the PowerPak. This has been fixed in v9.1

Excitebike (NROM to MMC3) ;fixed for powerpak v9.1
Kung-Fu Heroes (CNROM to MMC3) ;fixed for powerpak v.91
Paperboy (CNROM to MMC3) ;fixed for powerpak v9.1
Q-Bert (CNROM to MMC3) fxied for powerpak v9.1

Hey infidelity, I checked the notes of The Legend of Zelda in your latest pack release v9.1. I noticed that the bankswap routine in the notes is still the old bankswap routine from Super Mario Bros. 2 before you noticed that the bankswap routine was causing a problem in my Mega Man conversion.

If I want to use that patch, all I have to do is simply replace those old routines with the new ones? The Legend of Zelda is a MMC1 mapper, and I noticed that there was a little bit more involved when you converted this ROM.

And speaking of the old bankswap routine, I hope you updated it for your Zelda hack as well, so it doesn't cause any surprise problems down the road.

Also, slightly curious as to why there are multiple bankswap routines instead of just one hard-wired one, in The Legend of Zelda?

My current Zelda MMC5 hack works on all emulators. FCEUX, Nintendulator, & Nestopia, all show/play everything correctly.

The MMC3 conversion patch should be fine the way it is, but if it happens to not work on the other emulators, I hope to be let known of that.

As for Zelda having multiple bankswaps, I believe all MMC1 games have them at the end of each bank. I forget the reasoning behind it, but it was needed to be preserved even in the MMC3 conversion.

Hello infidelity, great hacks!

Do you think this would be a big deal (since you already hacked super mario) to hack the europe (pal) version too?
I play on a real nes, and us version plays fine, but it feels so slow
(I tried to apply your patch on pal version, doesn't work)

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hi Infidelity,

fyi, that Zelda II MMC3 freezes every time in the 1st elevator room in Death Mountain on the Powerpak (latest OS) and on the N8 Everdrive (latest OS).

I hope you can fix that someday

I dont know exactly how to get where the glitch occurs, i dont know that title quite well like i do with the others.

If you could shed some light on how i can get there, ill take a look and see if i can figure out the error.

First I wanted to say thank you infidelity for your work on this and many other hacks! I've really enjoyed your work.

I also realize it's been a while since this thread was active and for dredging this up I'm sorry.

I did want to let you know that while the MMC3 hack for TMNT works on my power pack, everdrive, and various emulators it does not work on an actual TLROM board, it has graphics issues and freezes after the splash screen.

After doing a mapper conversion of Contra, I really feel that ROMs are not meant to be mapper-hacked. I feel like it creates an unstable ROM for some reason, because that ROM was never meant to run on the hacked mapper. There was no logical reason what-so-ever for a certain graphical glitch to be caused in infidelity's MMC3 Contra conversion, or my MMC5 Contra conversion (if you let the game run in demo mode, on level 2 you can see a graphical glitch when the players shoot the wall down).

Hello, I wake up the subject to address @infidelity

There is a problem with teenage mutant hero turtles only at the penultimate level with the boss of the technoddrome (tank with the eye).

-the boss no longer comes to the beginning of the right of the screen with the character on the left but on the contrary of the left with the character on the right (the boss is however posted in the good sense)

-the two mitrallets are no longer present

-the turret with the ninjas coming out no longer works and his hitbox is gone

-the front and rear forks do not do any more electricity and their hitbox has disappeared

-the sprite of the eye is no longer at the top but at the end of the forks once before and again at the back (it seems to replace the electricity of the forks)
It hitbox is present and the boss can be defeated but it's ridiculous

- the hitbox of caterpillars is present

the healthy USA rom does not have the bug.The bug comes well after applying your patch map 4 MMC3
I tested on the nestopia emulator, FCeux and Chinese mini clone with sd card for an identical result.
a small correction is thus brought and I will be able to possibly make a save stat on an emulator

always in this level, it happens sometimes that in the caves the enemies is a random behavior and manage to pass through the decor. But it's quite rare unlike the boss bug that is permanent.

the rest of the game is clean.


one last thing: is it possible to convert robowarrior or bomber king (map 2> map 4)? Even though I know it takes time and investment.

apparently there was already one but I can not get my hands on it and play me intersted at the highest point to possibly play on the mini nes clone that only takes the map 0 or 4.
