Which tempo speed does FamiTracker work best on ?
For the life of me, the playback in the editor and output is too slow. Usually when I make music I set the tempo between 44-58, that is usually average for a normal midi. The current version of fami-tracker has it as 161. but when tinkered it will stay below 31 on speed ? |

Never mind, apparently the new version sucks.
Mods please shut down the thread. |

Uhm what? There's no "best" tempo, simply leave tempo on 150 and only change the speed value otherwise notes might sound shorter or longer than they should, due to the nes being in sync with tv frames (NTSC = 60 frames per second) and if you want something like 140 BPM withouth that then you need to change the speed every row with the Fxy command, F06 (150 BPM) - F07 (128 BPM) |

Posted by za909 I have already tried that during the past 2 weeks something isn't right with that new version as that speed is too unbalanced. You can check out for yourself later, thanks for the response. |
