In addition to the bomb counter still not working, collecting normal rupees dropped by enemies/bushes makes the wrong sound effect and sets your rupee count to 16. Sounds like the asm gremlins are trying to drive you nuts. |

Glitch report!
I was in the light world skull dungeon, and decided to Up+A and then Save-Quit out of it. When I reloaded my file, everything was normal, except the gate to the skull dungeon was closed off again. I then closed the emulator (after saving in the menu with the B button), and went to reload my file again, and it started me off in the swamp area in the upper right corner of the map, with full life and all the treasure chests I got before I am able to get again. It seems the SRAM issues are back Now every time I load my save file, it starts me off in the swamp area. I can send you my .sav file if you want to take a look at it. |

Maybe you should take a breather, few days away from this hack might do you some good. Don't feel like you have to take on something when you're not feeling it |

I concur.
Take a few days to relax. It'll do you good. As a programmer I can't list the number of times I've gotten frustrated with something, left it alone for a day or two, and gone back only to solve it in a matter of minutes. PS- ASM is the Devil's programming language and I firmly believe it was created to break people. ____________________ Krakenskin Leather Works, my Etsy store. LordVanya, my art page. Posted by kuja killer 1.5 is definitely the most stable release to date - it's virtually bug-free unless you use the ocarina on ice, get over 50 keys, or play in the light world on a Game-Clear file. |

I also noticed you can walk over people shops and houses. In addition to this, I can continuously buy a big shield at shops even though I already have one. I don't know if this works for other items.
I hope this isn't too much to ask, but it'd be neat to have Link walk diagonally like in the original Link's Awakening. |

This isn't going to happen Chpexo. I have talked with Infidelity several time over things we take for granted in the future 2d games. He would need to create the game from scratch, which is something he abhors. I am afraid, but the engine on which this hack is build on is very limited. Not to mention, the prg-rom space is not optimally used for to swap things in an instand. It is afterall one of Nintendo's first games.
If you want to play something more suited towards your tastes, then play Alttp, LA and the Oracle games. I wonder though what could have been, if Infidelity focused his work on LA instead... I will never know, but Infidelity has still to play the GB games for himself. ____________________ I was a prisoner enclosed in the void, were everything might end up just as myself. I'm wondering if the new mapper is what is causing the SRAM problems, or if the swapping of code in the SRAM locations $6000 - $7FFF is what is causing the problem. Since it has been said that Zelda 1 stores its code in the SRAM locations, perhaps the swapping of code in those locations is causing the SRAM to become unstable.
infidelity, did you say that you swap PRG code in those locations? Maybe it's possible that during the swapping process, that the entire SRAM section is getting corrupted. But as others have said, I would take a breather, and a few days away from this hack. When you return, you will return refreshed, and it will then come together. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

Sorry I got frustrated everyone. I'm going to step away from this for a day or two.
I will say this, that after a few hours of wondering what went wrong, when LeviathanMist reported the SRAM issue, it dawned on me. I read the sequential order of what he did, and I realzed I never added a special exception to the upper/lower light/dark world register. You always start at links house. $659 is the upper/lower light/dark world register. 00=upper light world screen id's 00-7F. 01=lower light world screen id's 00-7F. 02=upper dark world screen id's 00-7F. 03=lower dark world screen id's 00-7F. So what I do when saving, is depending on what type of world you are in, I for e 01 for light or 03 for dark. But I forgot to include the exception within the new B button save function. So when LeviathanMist first saved with the B button, he saved on the upper light world, so when he rebooted, he started in the swap, then when he saved from there with up/A, it screwed with the SRAM again. So its all due to my new function. Its fixed. But I'm stepping away. |

You probably won't listen to me but stop hacking for one week. :/
You've been at this nearly 24/7 get some business done at home take your mind off of it. We all enjoyed your hack and you put alot of effort into it but too me you seem to be burned out. Come back to your project later on next week. |

Man, I have to agree with Techno on this one. You're overworking yourself on this game, I know this is a great Zelda hack but.. Working way too hard is going to make this game a hassle. (btw, how's Megaman Evolution doing?) |

There is a glitch I discovered. Whenever I press select when jumping off a ledge, the game freezes. I turned it off and back on 'cause resetting doesn't work. I reload the game, my shield goes invisible and I can't spin slash. |

I think I might know what's causing that rupee glitch! I think the game's confusing the rupees for bombs for some reason! I'm not 100% positive about that since I have next to 0 ASM knowledge. Why don't you take a look after you've had a breather? Too much of a good thing can turn bad like *snaps fingers* that. ____________________ Sorry for the stupidity.
