I appreciate it! Congrats on beating it btw! I will say this, that 1.3 will need to be played from scratch. Its significantly different now. So when 1.3 is released, all previous save states and .sav files must be deleted. And people need to be very careful using savestates with a battery backed game. You might have saved earlier in the game via sram, but progressed further and have been saving your progress with save states, the you go to reload your game from power off and notice your missing a bunch of shit. I'm away for the weekend so I can do much of anything until Tuesday. |

Great news!
Altough huiminghao (maintainer of nesDS) claimed to have neither interest nor time to fix so that 'Zelda - Legend of Link' would run on nesDS - he bloody did it anyway!! If you get the latest source and compile it - you can run this great hack on your DS. Just thought I'll let you know. /d-ace |

As I said - there is NO official release that can play the hack yet YOU have to compile it YOURSELF.

Ok I'm back.
I'm hoping v1.3 will be released this week. The change log is enormous. Currently in working on a new method for the enemies in connected caves. I hope to have it finished by tomorrow. The remarks towards The Hammer. I'll see if I can do something to give Link a swing animation of the hammer, instead of a poke/thrust motion. However, if I have to make significant changes to its xy hit detection, I'm going to pass on it. @d-ace, thank you for getting the author of the nes emu for the DS, to update the emulator. If an official binary release is made, please inform me, and I'll update the front page here with the link. Its too bad the N8 Everdrive will never be updated. |

There is another alternative to fixing the hammer animation, without adding frames of animation to Link. Simply change the sprite of the hammer, to something like this:
That way when Link pushes the hammer forward, like he does now, what you are really looking at, is the back-end of the hammer, instead of the side view of the hammer. ____________________ My YouTube Channel |

Well what I would need is 2 animations for each direction link faces.
Facing Up and Down: Top view of hammer head only. Then, top view of hammer with handle. Facing Left and Right: Can just use already created hammer, unless you do a redesign. |

Well all that's left for me to do is work on The Hammer a bit. Once that's done, and 1 other final design idea to work out, i'll be releasing v1.3b.
EDIT Ahhhh, just found a major screw up on my end, in regards to SRAM. When you select SAVE AND CONTINUE, then decided to reset the rom whenever, then the SRAM gets wiped regardless of that selection. I just noticed that, and saw that I forgot to set up my SRAM wipe/not wipe register. This only happened with only SAVE AND CONTINUE. So this has been fixed, and I hope that was the sram issue was. |

K well I lack the free space for updates to the hammers asm.
so I'll need an update to hammers gfx by someone, I'll try myself when I get the chance. Still need 1 thing to finish, then most likely, the final beta 1.3 will come out this week. |

I'm in Level 1 dungeon right now, and although I'm near the end of it, there are still a few more rooms I want to check, so I can cross them off the map there, but I ran out of the magic meter.
