AKA: Kirby's return to dreamland for all of you living in the US region.

After getting through the whole game I must say that it was worth it. At first I thought the price tag was kinda hefty for the game, but it pulls off some cool stuff (even more so for long time fans) that makes the game longer.

I'm also a big fan of the improved copy abilities. For example, spark and thunder being the same power up (and getting more moves!) was a very good idea. Likewise, many of the old powerups got improved move sets. Stone having an upper cut and heavy smash, for example.

It's nice to see that the quality of this well known Nintendo series have not gone down hill over the years, then again, I suppose it's due to this game sticking to the classic Kirby formula.

I would have to go check it out again to be certain, but I recalled not really enjoying it like the older Kirby games and giving up on it about halfway through. In retrospect, I may just have been in more of an RPG mood at the time, and Kirby's lack of reinforcement in the way of increasing numbers could have been responsible.

As far as the copying system, I wish they would have reused the idea from Kirby 64. Mixing powers in that game was the best, and the 2.5D gameplay looked fantastic. To me, it should be the benchmark for post-SNES Kirby games.
