One of the better memes to have come out of 4chan recently, that's for sure... I wouldn't be surprised if in the end, 90% of the templates are made by the same guy.

Nonono blackhole89, you've got it all wrong. Things like "rage comics" are one of the things that's way wrong with reddit, and whatever else. Any one of these stories would be far better if they had taken two minutes to slop together some art in ms paint, rather than copy-and-paste some tired old faces none of them created in order to tell a story that oftentimes isn't funny at all.

Endless reiterations of the same concept with varying quality had been around on 4chan since long before Reddit even existed, and a general rule when dealing with anything like that is that you simply do your best to ignore the ocean of piss to appreciate the few lumps of gold being swept around in it.
