Hello board2,

2012 is approaching reasonably fast (and might, in fact, already have reached some of you). Now, of course, in between all the pretending to have a life/family/friends/whatever the season calls for, it is always useful to remind ourselves that we are here forever - in that spirit: What have you been up to this New Year's Eve? Any non-numerical new year's resolutions? What do you expect the apocalypse to look like?

At this point, I might also use the opportunity to imply that some significant changes affecting the board will occur some time soon.

Personally, I still don't have steady plans for the night. I'm sure a party of some sort will crop up and I'll wind up there, but at the moment I've got nothing. As far as new year's resolutions, I tend to make personal goals on a monthly level. Since I don't have any major addictions or health problems to work toward fixing either, that puts me out a bit as well.

I'm just about to go to a party of some sorts. (by party I mean getting together with a few of my family members and eating. Thats usually our New Years Eve party).

I didn't really think 2011 was that bad, at least I didn't find anything wrong with it. It was quick though I will say that.

I am working to identify deficiencies in my knowledge and in my character. I am currently drawing up a document of plans and goals for the future, where I will outline particular resolutions I plan on making as well as a course of study for the future in the hopes of self-reformation and improvement of myself on the whole.
