Last view: 4324 days 		I had just finished cropping up a new set of mood avatars for myself and discovered there seems to be a limit of 16. Can we get this lifted?

Further, can we get a better viewing system for mood avatars, including like a gallery view (maybe even something that can be clicked and viewed by other users from the user page)?

Also mood avatars sorting alphabetically, rather than by upload order would be nice...

Anyway, raising the mood avatar limit takes all about twelve seconds. All you need to do is change two variables in one file and POOF, done. I had suggested it a while back but :/

(also, some hosts allow for 'unlimited' HDD space, not going to advertise one here tho)

Mood avatars can't be more than 30 KB. Your argument is moot. Given there's less than 20-30 active users right now, that would allow for everyone to basically have over 1500 mood avatars, and it still probably wouldn't equal up to more than 1 GB of HD space.


when I see the posts above me: why the fuck are we letting that kind of people in?! I clearly prefer no activity at all rather than this kind of activity!

I have to admit that you're right. 1000 users with 1500 mood avatars each, would hardly take more than 4.5GB, which isn't that much given today's HDD capacities. (now, another thing that has to be taken into account is how many space board2's host is allowing)

It's because there's a full backup being made every day. And "full" includes the entire geolocation table and a bunch of sizable, quasi-forensic logs.

Those backups are, in a word, insane.
