Hooray for my 999th post!

When was the last time you've been boating? Where do you boat the most? Where do you swim the most, and how often?

I believe it's been over 4 months now. I last swam at my friend's huge apartment complex. It has a mini waterfall and only drops 5 feet deep. However, it must have been over two years since I've been to a public pool or one that drops 11 feet or deeper.

I havn't gone swimming now for 2-3 years. Last time I was on a boat was 5 or 6. It's been a long time since I've even interfered with water or anything. Also Hurrah to your 999th post.

I haven't gone swimming since public school. We had a class trip to a local indoor pool place. I don't remember the last time that I was on a boat, if I ever even was.

To connect this with your "Caves" thread, I never seem to do anything that you get to do where you live, Z.

Wasn't it so much better when I remained mysterious and didn't post in General Chat?

My last swimming sessions were all on holiday in indoor pools.

At least it's free entry for those. Going swimming for an hour can be incredibly expensive depending on where you go around here.

I really don't care much for water, though my family owns a reasonably sized above-ground pool. Last time I went swimming was probably two years ago now.

The last time I was in a boat has to be approaching 5 years now though... Curly makes a good point, you must live in a rather geographically diverse place.

A school swimming trip? We went to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center last year, and that was it. I went to a hotel in St. Louis in 8th grade for three days. So our schools really didn't do activities like that.

I didn't really get to do cave exploration. Only twice, and that was long ago. I haven't swum in a river or lake, and I swam once in a gulf ages ago. All you need is a pond/lake to boat and swim in. Of course, you can swim in a pool, and it doesn't matter where you're at. Huge lakes can be a part of rivers. I remember reading that almost everyone lives within a 1-mile radius of a river or stream. Of course, some streams may be too small to boat in.
