Dampe, the creator of the 2D Ocarina of Time remake passed away recently from a car accident. I used to follow his project, but then I figured it was never going to happen... but apparently he was still working on it. It's a sad time when someone widely known on the internet dies, let us never forget him.

I feel for them, and it is sad that someone like him to die, especially the way that he did, but to risk being insensitive (which I don't mean to be)... It is also sad that no one took up the project where he left off. I mean, you'd think someone would finish it as a tribute to him...at least that is what some people do with movies/books/etc when the original author passes away, or at least they release what they were working on as a tribute as to what they might have wanted... *shrugs*
Anyways, Dampe rest in peace... |

If you really miss Dampe, put "RIP Dampe" or something in your custom title. |

Oh come on asdf, I thought you had a little more decency than that I doubt anyone would be low enough to fake their own death (thus you know, greatly hurting close friends of their who, by the reactions on the forum, seemed legitimately saddened) to get out of finishing a project. I also doubt any of his friends, and such a large amount no less, would agree to to along with such a terrible hoax, apparently his brother included? (at least the first post makes mention of his brother). I am however inclined to believe that someone is low enough to make these kind of commments, thanks for proving that one ;\ come on, even if you truly believe it to be fake is that really appropriate?
I mean, please don't look at it like I don't have a sense of humor, that joke MIGHT have been funny if the poor kid hadn't died, you know? It was just...completely inappropriate given the situation, and you should know that. Mrh. |
