I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to format a 750GB from NTFS into FAT32
in Windows 7? ____________________ "Great, he not only has a thing for fullcaps names but he has bad eyesight too!" SOURCE: Kawa about me PYRATROOPER on ABXD |

Posted by blackhole89 I personally don't trust sites like that ... probably just me. The official site has a GUI version available as well which is probably better for Windows users |

If you're in Windows 7, and are working with a hard drive that isn't the one you're operating on, and it's attached...
Start --> type MMC --> enter From the console root; File --> Add/remove snap-in --> Disk Management. From there, you can delete the volume, recreate it, and format it as a fresh FAT32. |

Since Windows 2000, there's a 32GB restriction on FAT32 volumes. It's arbitrary and can be bypassed by other formatters like fat32format |

Oh, I wasn't aware of the limit on FAT32, so I thought Disk Management would work. |
