I have a feeling the worst yet to come.

Did you know since USA invaded both Iraq and Afghanistan over 100,000 people have died. Also since the USA invaded Afghanistan membership in Al-quada and other terrorist organizations have increased by over 3000% and over 25 new organizations have been created because of it.
As a result a certain amount of Muslims view the USA and her allies as the terrorist.

All of this just to get 2 guys and with it a 14+ trillion dollar debt.

The USA and her allies will NEVER win the the War on terror if we keep barking up the same tree.

. Also it does not help the USA's case that they allowed the British to "illegally" created Israel either, out of land belonging to a Islamic nation and that the USA is the one giving the billions of dollars each year in military technology and we also gave them nuclear bombs and guess who the Israeli military uses it on...............................................Muslims.

"I've never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure." - Mark Twain

I will never hate anyone or wish for them dead, as much as it would feel nice to, it serves me not (doing that would just make me less of the kind of person I want to be). The only thing I wish for such people, is that they learn from their mistakes and gain wisdom from their trials in life. I only wish the best for everyone.

Yeah, it's really sad how some people can be so intolerant of another religion such as Islam. Yes, there are extremists, but that is so in nearly any religion. Because of the extremists that go against the ways of the rest, people come to the conclusion that Islam in itself is bad. This is simply not true. It is the terrorists that we must strive to stop not being prejudiced against every Islamic person that we see.

Although, I do concede, that many of the Islamic people have been the ones targeting the USA, but I guess that they have the right to seeing as what Pyratrooper said

("they allowed the British to "illegally" created Israel either, out of land belonging to a Islamic nation and that the USA is the one giving the billions of dollars each year in military technology and we also gave them nuclear bombs and guess who the Israeli military uses it on...............................................Muslims.")

I also agree that we need to get the heck out of both places and spend our tax money elsewhere.

Guantanamo Bay is still open, the torturers have been granted general amnesty, government whistleblowers are persecuted harder than ever, none of the "counterterrorism" civil rights suspensions have been terminated, the US veto in the UN security council has been used to block any criticism of Israel's settlement policy, RIAA lawyers are appointed as associate attorneys general, and the ordered assassination of a guy on the territory of a different sovereign country has just been celebrated as a glorious victory of democracy and western values.

First of all, the values in effect is justice, that if you use terrorism against the US, you will suffer the penalty for your actions. It is a glorious victory in the view that the 9/11 planner was killed which is one step forward in the war against terrorism.

I always thought one of the chief achievements of western civilization was that guilt was determined by a fair and unbiased court of law which would give every party the chance to present their viewpoint and be considered innocent until proven guilty rather than by the opinion of the head honcho and some large segment of the mob.

If you become a terrorist to defeat the terrorists, the only net winner is the abstract concept of terrorism itself.

Well the fact of the matter is that even before 9/11 he had already done things against the law (US 1998 Embassy Bombings). He had a warrant of arrest from more than just the US and was in hiding, so you can't exactly bring him to court. By not complying with US requests for trial for the actions he is giving US the warrant to do what they must to get him. He was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, on charges of Murder of U.S. Nationals Outside the United States, Conspiracy to Murder U.S. Nationals Outside the United States, and Attacks on a Federal Facility Resulting in Death (source) so there was a fair and unbiased court that made the decision that he was guilty of many crimes and should serve the penalty for said crimes, death.

Punishing someone through what is decided by the law is not terrorist act. It was done through a desire to do justice, achieving political aims would only be a byproduct.

An indictment is not a conviction. For instance, imagine Spain indicted US administration members for the widespread evidence of them ordering torture and murder of civilians. Surely, the USA would make no effort to extradite them to Spain so they can stand trial. Would you then consider it a great triumph for freedom if a troop of Spanish commandos snuck into the US with orders to assassinate Dick Cheney and succeeded?

If not, why not?

Again, an indictment is not a conviction.

I just remembered hearing a week or so ago that apparently Osama bin Laden had a stack of porn in the same room he was shot in his hideout. Source: ABC News.
