It worked fine in ZSNES for me - I never bothered with SNES9x. Who knows, maybe it does have something to do with that

No, I don't think there's a problem with snes9x. It worked just fine when I tried it.

Its a shame so many people cant get it to work (I had no problems whatsoever) Because this is one of THE BEST hacks ever, never mind the best YI hack, but best hack of any game. I was absolutely glued to my controller. I could not put it down. Every single facet of the hack is utterly perfect.

I love how Golden Yoshi kept to a theme in every level. And I'm not talking about aesthetic theme, but I mean level design theme. "Yoshi and friends" level contained poochi, those rolly guys you can push, and that purple blob that lets you jump on spikes. "Grand Theft Mario", every enemy can steal Mario.

Every level had variety in enemies and obstacles, literally never a dull moment. Difficulty was perfect too. Thank GOD Golden Yoshi didn't make this a hard hack right from world 1.

Quite frankly, I think these first levels are so good, I cant fathom Golden Yoshi keeping the quality high the entire hack. I hope he proves me wrong.

Finally figured out the problem.
Theres dumps out there called (M3) in the name. These won't work for some reason.

Mine isn't M3 though, at least I don't THINK it is..."M3" isn't in the filename.

Well according to the table you posted, it means the game is in 3 languages. Hence, it is not the US version.

Yea, but I went to Acmlm's Romulation Station where there are full goodsets, and it only contains the M3 ones. In fact, they even say "(M3) (U)". Weird, eh?

EDIT: I played through the demo, I really enjoyed it! Nice slow pace, nothing too hard but it has it's tenancies to have a little challenge here and there.
