I often get called Daniel, because people don't read the end of my name. Oh well.

I don't want to get rid of my birth name entirely because I like it and it suits me, but I chose my handle of 10+ years and it feels like another "real" name to me, so it would be cool to have both. As Rydain, I've always been open about my meatspace identity, so it is a functional alias to my legal name anyway.
