I don't get it.
Once i go to (There is one chat site similar to an IRC, but you can use a cam to show yourself) a site where you ned a webcam to use
And then it crashes my Browser.
I used different browsers, and the same thing occured.
I tried looking if it isn't some kind of a software failure, but it isn't D:
A little help here?

First of all, this thread belongs into Hardware/Software; moved it there.

Secondly, could you provide a little more detail? Like what camera it is, which drivers you have installed, what website it is etc.; what you did there is almost akin to posting "My computer crashed. What do I do?" on a tech support site.

Nikolaj: How much are they paying you, now?

Browsers don't have inbuilt webcam support so it's probably either flash or java troubling. Most likely flash as the webcam support in Java hadn't been updated in a few years, and flash have the tendency to take down the browser while crashing (though newer browsers sandboxes plugins by running them as a separate process in a attempt to prevent this).

Ahem.

My camera is a Creative Live! Cam Vista IM, and i'm using Windows 7. The software i use is from Creative and it's called Live! Cam Center.

The driver version is recent (I think it was V. 3.3424)

I used all browsers, even Netscape (Which is ridiculous. But i took the chance.), and it did not work at all.

The Java or Flash aren't faulty as there are no errors occuring, And Java is simply not used in there.

So i don't know what is wrong with that, but maybe it isn't compatible with Windows 7, but Software or drivers made for Vista should work for windows 7 properly.

Is that Detailed enough?

@blackhole89: Thank you for moving this thread.

EDIT: I used the Creative site, as in www.creative.com

I'd consider the browser crashing an error...

Anyway, one piece of information that would be useful is if you went on an arbitrary site having flash not using a webcam (e.g. Youtube), rightclicked the flash plugin's render area, clicked "settings", went to the webcam tab and told us what entries it lists.
