I admit, it's probably one of those weird obsessions that only autistic can have.

The other day I was buying groceries, and I needed a additional 700 SEK in cash for renewing my bus period card, as I prefer to renew it on the bus (which only accept cash). What I didn't notice was the amount it totaled up to:

Anyone else like me? Looking for combinations like that, ones like 666 (which is my birth date 1986 06 06) and 1337 (always on the look for when the clock turns 13:37), numbers like 42 and prime numbers popping up. And anything resembling PI.

(Next time, I'm totally going for a 666 withdrawal)

Well, I do this kind of observation sometimes. And choices based on this as well. I usually launch software at dates that seem significant to me. One I do on a regular basis is when I put gaz in my car. Dollars and cents MUST be identical numbers... Or palindromic...

I also admit to announcing significance in numbers that pop up in customers' totals.

Examples:
Least common factor of the dollar and change amounts (if >1)
"Special" numbers (i.e. 11.11 wish, lucky 7.77)
Palindromes
Prime numbers

I've gotten some strange looks before. It only makes me laugh. I'm yet to get a mathematically minded customer that is willing to play along during a time that I can take time and bullshit a bit without getting scolded by my supervisor for holding up the line.

I'm fond of power of two numbers, and tend to make notice when they appear in everyday situations. And I always imagine a rollover when something is about to go over 255.

I have a small obsession with numbers
I'm not superstitious, so I don't care whether it is 11:11 or 13:37 (Nice military time by the way, so I'm not the only one )

I like seeing them in everyday situations, and also when online, like after this post I might go and check what thread 1337 is about. It's just a fun thing to do, it's not like I think that some numbers are more important than others or anything, it's mainly just a random thing I do

Well, in Europe, what you call "military time" is pretty much the default, and 12-hour time is only used conversationally (and not even consistently so).

blackhole89- Ah, I see.

In America it's completely 12-hour and nobody ever uses 24-hour time in everyday life I've pretty much become accustomed to it through a funny way.

A few years ago I got a watch. I somehow changed it so it showed 24-hours and I couldn't turn it back. After a while I got used to it and never changed it back even after I found out how to. So that's why several years later I still have my watch in 24-hours (different watch) and know it "like the back of my hand".

I have this really weird habit of looking at a clock exactly when it reads 4:13 PM.

Goddamned Homestuck.

Also, sweet mother of JESUS, man, that is a stupid post.

If you're talking about Eman's post, I agree that it was pretty dumb.

I admit that I have an obsession with card counts when I build decks for Magic or Yugioh.

In Magic, I need a 2:1 ratio for spells to land that is divisible by 10. I never build above the required minimum of 60 because of it. When it comes to spell cards, I need to have either 2 copies or a full play set of 4. If I'm building multicolor, my lands have to have an easily split ratio to them. (i.e. My Fungus deck is Green, Black, and White. Its land spread is 10 Forests, 4 Swamps, 4 Plains and 2 Dreadship Reefs)

In Yugioh, I always build with a 1:1 monster:spell/trap ratio with a 3:2 ratio within my spells and traps. I build 50 card decks because it's the only small number that can fit my obsession.

I'm not really 'obsessed' with them as such, but I do kinda think of it when I see numbers like 256, 512, etc. and binary numbers.

I have a weird obsession with the smaller numbers, like 25 or 15. And they HAVE to be even, or I don't show interest. I also have a habit of looking at my computer clock every three minutes....weird huh?

I'm fairly sure that '25' and '15' aren't even.

See that?

He rejected your reality and substituted his own.

Like a boss.

A boss that can't categorize numbers for shit, that is!

So, Friza's definition of "fifteen" equals our "zero"?
