What would you do if there was a Zombie invasion rising from the grave to feed on the brains of the living? Would you strap up? Trip your loved ones to run ahead? etc.

As for me, I'd go shotgun blasting 'em...

If they have human-like intelligence, I don't see why it shouldn't be possible to reason with them or they should be considered "inferiors" or "zombies" at all; if they don't, I'm sure careful evaluation of the situation (instead of just going outside and running in circles as seems to be a necessary precondition for the plot of roughly every zombie apocalypse film out there to function) will yield some simple solution that will make the invasion not constitute the slightest bit of a problem.

Why is it hard to imagine that those who have seen death and come back are incompatible with the living not-undead like in Andreyev's Lazarus and that we shouldn't burn their eyes out with hot coals?

Get to a fairly remote location, would be very tricky but less zombies to handle the better. Hoping I'm immune, then I get pills.

I'd tape a knife to my golf club and head to far north in Canada. I doubt zombies would reach there. Seriously, ever thought of frozen zombies? I think buying a gun would be a bad idea. Everyone would probably go to the nearest gun shop and one would be infected causing a massive cluster of zombies.

If we're dealing with magical zombies that can somehow actually exist for longer than a few minutes by defying the laws of physics/etc, then we're probably screwed. Otherwise, I'm not worried at all.

Thankfully, magical zombies are less likely than the infected zombies that now is the most common type in various medias.

If you think of it zombies are actually somewhat possible. Major blood clotting leads to being able to loose limbs and slow down the brain. A high need and want for protein could cause them to eat humans, the nearest meat. And transmission could be from saliva into bloodstream.
