Is anyone else getting annoyed with the spam posts (Mostly in Russian) that have been happening lately?
It's like they make an account, and first (And usually last) post they do, is a link, or links to something else. It's obnoxious to me at least. And why is it a smart idea for them to post on a board where I'm sure loads of the members can hack and/or trace it back to the source? I'm sure at least a few here are good enough to do that. There is no intelligence driving the spam accounts, they're bots. As in, automated programs that search the web for message boards to spam on. They don't care who runs the board or what it's about or anything, they don't even know! Someone programs it to search the web for boards, that's what it does, mindlessly. ____________________ |

Nightkev, some spammers actually use humans instead of spambots. Hard to tell the difference, since said humans just copy and paste a lot. Nice. Atleast it is readable. Some like recaptcha can be fucking unreadable.
As long as it is using the same high-security encryption as the cookies, I guess it should be fine.
