You're actualy the only male I've ever heard with the first name Kim. Korean people don't count ;x

In high school, the (White, male) assistant principal was named Kim. And yes, it was short for Kimberly. His last name was Hartman, so I can imagine him being made fun of a lot in elementary school for having such a girly name. (Then again, he was at least 65, so maybe it was a male name then.)

my name is Daanish(pronounced Daaaaaah-nish) Khan. Roll call was always embarrassing. You'd think people would be more amazed when they see two A's in someone's name. But no, more often than not, it must have been ignored, as I found that I was being mistaken for a pastry that I love.

'Daanish' is a Persian name which means Wise and Khan, well as many of you know, goes back to the Mongols and is universally known in a variety of languages as ruler, overlord, etc.

So my name means 'Wise Overlord'. Eat it.

But Swedish do? It's just as much a male name over there (and here).

And yeah, Fredrik Jullum here. It's in the profile and all, too.

My first name is Alexander, my middle name is James, and I don't want to reveal my last name, but I'll tell you it has 3 Zs in it.

So my initials are AJZ.

I go by Alex, because Alexander sounds too formal. I'm named after one of my dad's friends, whom I've never met.

I guess this is the right point to point out that one of the arguments brought up above is flawed, since in Korea, "Kim" is a last name, not a first one... (as represented by the Chinese character 金) (in fact, you can easily distinguish Korean first names from last ones since the last ones have only one syllable while the first ones mostly have two)

C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

Keyvan Dustin Chandonnet.

I loathe my name. It's a paradox. People can joke about it with uncanny accuracy (KEY IN VAN, HAHAHAHA get aids) yet at the same time no one can pronounce it right in any real life situation (kayven, kevin, keevin, on and on and on, you think people would say it how it's written which DOES happen to be the right way but nope).

I was apparently named after some hockey player, but if I were given the opportunity to change it to Kevin or Keith or something I would do so at the drop of a hat.
