For those of you who don't already know, I've recently learned Flash and have been toying with it in school. Now that I've acquired it for myself, expect to see more stuff here. But first, here are my little Flash animations, in order of creation. So far, none have any sound.
(First link is the file itself, second is file viewed through Imageshack) Oleana (Imageshack) Fun with motion tweens. Heavy Lobster (Imageshack) At first, the body had no detail, so I called it Heavy Blobster.  Not intended to be accurate.
Kracko (Imageshack) Fun with ActionScript. Heavy Mole (Imageshack) Dig it. And now the first file I've created here... Toad (Imageshack) Just a test using sprites. |

If you're using photoshop, I can give you a great tip for anti-aliasing your images. That way, your photoshop-to-flash work won't be all jagged.
-Make sure you don't have a background in your Photoshop document. Also make sure your image isn't jagged in the first place.
-Save the image for web as a Png-24 and use transparency. -Load it into flash and you'll notice there's no matte and you can use it against any background without worrying about jagged edges. This goes great with flares and clouds. I noticed your Toad was jagged so I thought this might help.
I hope you can utilize some flash well enough to make your comics come to life. Then you can submit it to Newgrounds and get a crapload of awesome reviews. |

Thanks, but I made it like that on purpose. I wanted to make it as spritey as possible. And I don't have Photoshop.

I tried to follow the fuzzy around, and around, and around, but I got dizzy and stopped. Yeah Peardin, you are good at Flash efects. I'm good at movies, not those kind of things. I'm still not sure how you got the fuzzy's fur to do that thing it does. |
