Old, but "You damned fool." in Bionic Commando. Figured that was too hardcore for Nintendo's censorship policies back then.

a sudden image of Kahless if you doze around for too long in Klingon Honor Guard. Scared the shit out of me the first time it happened.

It probably had to do with fitting it all on one line.

I'd be surprised if my name was in a game. And not my username, my actual name.
In fact, I bets you all my dollar bills that you can't find my first name as a proper name in any game. Deal?

I agree, I'm all for a Mario/Sonic crossover, but Olympics? I don't know. I can't remember the last time I saw an Olympics-based game.

11804D88 or ( 6660-D500 ) for the gamegenie

It looks like Super Mario Bros. USA (2) on Super Mario All Stars (with or without world) has a anti-copying text onto it. I wonder how it's really activated without the code, and does it exist on the nes?

I got this message on an SMRPG cart. I guess it was dirty, because I took the cart out, cleaned it, and put it back in. Started up normally. It looked amazingly similar to the above screeny.

Final Fantasy VI, GBA version...

Cyan: Wh-what are these? "Machinery for Dunces," "A Pictoral Guide to Machines," "Everything About Machines," "Machines for the Mechanically Disinclined"...and..."Bushido in the Bedroom"?

Haha, that shocked me, too. Before, in the SNES version, it was like "Special SwdTech Techniques" (reminds me of people saying "The HIV Virus" or "PIN Number", or something.

A lot of first-party games have a screen similar to that, I guess...

Wouldn't it be the Nintendo NNS System then?

But if everyone called it the HI virus, it wouldn't be scary and life-threatening-sounding!

As for PI number, well, I don't need to go there

"Please insert your PI number"
*inserts pi to the 10,000th decimal place*
PI number accepted. You may now have your soda.
"But it's warm now!"
"you can always buy another one"
"grumble grumble"
