I remember seeing this before.

Pictures of an alien race form before my mental eye. They probably would form a sorts of insect state... but with a set of sexual organs reasonably reminiscent of terrestrial mammals, spare for the dangly bits being associated with the females. Said females would be at the head of each colony, similar to a queen bee (->MOTHER PENIS) and likely also be significantly larger than workers (->MASSIVE OVERLORD).

Now imagine this alien species discovered earth and was particularly intrigued with a certain element of its fauna, perhaps due to its superficial similarity to a species native to its home planet. Further scientific research on own territory would be warranted, and somebody must sacrifice themselves for the not at all trivial feat of securing live specimen in spite of their belligerence and raw power.
