I just picked up a Wii a few hours ago, I'm actually posting from it now.

It's the red special edition from last year, and I got NSMBW and Skyward Sword with it. My friend and I got to 2-2 in NSMB before getting frustrated. As for Zelda, I haven't gotten much done yet. I find controlling the Loftwing to be a bit of a hassle. :/

Gah! My TV makes reading small text really hard. ._.

I finally played Portal last Tuesday. I went from start to finish in one sitting. That's a fantastic game, and I'm probably going to look for Portal 2 soon.
As a plus, I finally understand those jokes people quit telling a couple of years ago.

Anyone play Zelda: Skyward Sword yet? I feel like it's more story oriented and there aren't as many sidequests as I've come to expect from a Zelda game nowadays. Still, it's a pretty fun game. What do you all think?

No but it's very high on my list. I have it lying around on a HD, but I don't have a motion plus dongle yet to try it out.

A friend and I were discussing the other day though that everything they've released in the last several years is doubtlessly trying to imitate the success of Ocarina of Time, but for whatever reasons it hasn't been done yet... :/

The replay value mostly comes from the updates the game get time to time as far I could tell. It's nice, although when it comes to it's type of game, Minecraft does a bit better in the replay value section (more room for creativity).
