So how was everyone's first day of school? Talk about it!
Mine was pretty awesome.. I have a choice of taking game and simulation foundation, or robotics.. not sure which one i want though. I'm wiped out though.. Probably going to bed in a few.. ____________________ Time heals all wounds.. but so does a couple pain killers, anti-depressants, and some hard core metal. |

You didn't specify what level of school, but just going off your posts I'm guessing high school.
As for me, my school year hasn't started yet :p |

I start in about two weeks.

Oh wow.. didn't think there was that much of a difference in the official first day of school..
Well for me, the bus is so packed that kids are literally sitting on the floor, the lunch lines were so long today, that i was 10 minutes late to class >,<, All the powerade machines were completely sold out (and it's only the second day of school..) they don't sell coffee in the morning, the school is very crowded, parts of the school haven't been finished (the school was just built)... So yeah, awesome! as for the good, well, they have a lot of unusual electives, such as game and simulation foundation, guitar, engineering, all sorts of different stuff... they have a golfing team, and a bowling team(lol) and the school is relatively small, so it doesn't take but 5 minutes to get from first building to last. my classes are (1st): game and Sim foundation, (2nd) Earth and space science, (3rd) Liberal arts (i know it's sad... =/. ), (4th) guitar 1 (woooo!) (5th) English 3 (6th) Power weight training (can't wait to start that one..) (7th) drama (kinda weird and boring.. and lame...) anyone else? ____________________ Time heals all wounds.. but so does a couple pain killers, anti-depressants, and some hard core metal. |

Starting my Junior (!1th) year of high school on the 30th.
classes are AP Computer Science A Adv. Calculus AP Economics AP English Language AP French AP Biology AP US History Sorta excited to being able to nap through my first two periods, but AP US History is a pretty mundane way to end my day. The first half of my day is pretty fun though and I guess the after-lunch classes have AP Biology so it won't be too bad. Not looking forward to my 1/3/5/7 Thursdays. Pretty excited to go back to school and have something to do for once. |

I have to go pick up my schedule next Tuesday. Which unfortunately means I have to miss work to go pick something up that in years past was mailed to us.

Senior year at high school.
The range of classes I'm allowed to take is depressing, because my school doesn't specialize in any of the areas I wanted to exploit. No music courses, computer courses (the advanced electronics class deals with *gasp* HTML! Oh god! ), foreign languages, or psychology.
Guess I'm taking art. And business preparation. |
