Considering how pointless it is to vote for anything else, I shall cast my vote in for "Dancing Mad".

On the other hand, I'll vote for "Fire!". The other theme is just so... generic.

This round we have four rather average songs. For the first match, I pick the Thunder Force song since it's the best of this group of four (even if one of the background instruments makes me think my phone is ringing). For the other match, I don't particularly care for either song, so I Abstain.

Match 19: The Justice Ray. The other song sounds dramatic but kinda...dull.

Match 20: Wisdom of the World.

Heroes of Mana - Ring of Revolving Fate

Ys Oath in Felghana - Dark Beasts as Black as the Night

Justice Ray was good, until it looped which just killed it for me..

Man, match #19 is killing me with my inability to come to a decision. Both songs are amazing. I've already listened to both songs three times. Heroes of Mana song sounds a bit like Bowser's Giant Theme from M&L: BIS... and I loved that theme. But this HoM song kicks its ass into the next 2012 theory. So, I guess I'll vote:

Heroes of Mana - Ring of Revolving Fate

for match #19. Man, I feel so shitty for leaving its competitor behind though.

Match #20 isn't a hard choice though, I'mma vote for the Mother song on this one.

Mother - Wisdom of the World

For this round, I'm gonna go for "The Justice Ray". Much more "epic" than the other song, which sounds rather "non-epic" to me.

The other round is a tough one, mainly because "Wisdom of the World" is a rather nice song... and "Dark Beasts as Black as the Night" is a rather awesome one. But, evidently, it seems like the winner for me is "Dark Beasts as Black as the Night".

Lol, epic.

Match 21's songs sound similar to each other but are not for obvious reasons. Both as a result are good and it's tough to choose. So... I'll go with Metroid Prime - Menu Select because it sounds a tad smooth.

22: Thunder Force 5 - Steel of Destiny

These are getting harder to pick now.

The MP menu theme feels sort of "ehhh", so Mega Man 10 - Against the Pressure.

As for match 22, I just don't really like the Wario song. Thunder Force V - Steel of Destiny

Match 21: Metroid Prime - Menu Select

Match 22: Thunder Force 5 - Steel of Destiny

Match 21 was a hard pick against the Mega Man song. I just love Mega Man music. But I love Metroid music more.

Match 21 is very difficult. Against the Pressure is my favorite 8-bit Mega Man song ever, which is a very high honor... ...but the Metroid Prime song is just... perfect. I don't even know how to properly describe it. It's so... I dunno. Transcendent, maybe? It's like the most cathartic thing ever. I could totally see a Buddhist monk buying this game just so he could meditate while literally (figuratively) absorbing the title screen (note: I have no idea what Buddhist monks actually do).

...so yeah. Metroid Prime it is, inane rambling aside.

Thankfully the second match is much easier. Thunder Force 5. No contest. If I didn't know better, I'd think that Wario song was a joke nomination.

Man, I kind of wish there was a way to bring back some of the really good songs that got pitted against some other equally good songs... Sometimes 1-on-1 racing brackets have the "fastest loser" time and are not quite eliminated from the tournament... Maybe we could have a similar bonus round here? I'm not sure how this would work, but perhaps those songs that were close competitors to their opposing song could come back somehow?

BracketMaker does support double elimination brackets, but since it doesn't allow me to change bracket types I'd have to do it manually by making another bracket. I guess I could put the issue up for vote tomorrow.
