So that other thread didn't go over all that well. Let's try this again.

BRACKET Status: FULL!

Voting will start around 11 AM (Pacific time) Tuesday (July 27).

THE RULES:

1) There will be 64 nominees with a soft limit of 6 songs per person (and a hard limit of 8). By "soft limit" I mean "I don't give a darned sock."

2) The song(s) you nominate must be from a videogame.

3) You must provide some sort of link to the song (ie YouTube).

4) All votes and nominations must be posted in this thread.

5) For heavens sake listen to both songs each match.

6) Have fun!

Ties will be settled through careful study of the nearest set of sheep entrails.

The winner of this contest will win a nice set of bragging rights.

I think you should populate a bracket in a way that lower (per person) nominations are given preference, e.g. if 17 people nominated, you would first add their 17 first nominations, then 15 second nominations of the 15 people who nominated first.

Nominations here are on a first-come first-serve basis, so I'm not going to do that (translation: I'm lazy). Though I would be willing to bump out fifth/sixth/seventh/ect. nominations if the bracket gets crowded enough. These songs will handily be preceded by an asterisk (*) on the bracket.

Also, I'm gonna be gone all day tomorrow. I expect lotsa nominations when I come back.

Why don't we say that everyone can add as many nominations they want, then RT-55J use a randomizer to select one or two songs from each person and those are the ones we can vote for?

Or maybe that wouldn't be fair. I could nominate a lot more songs than I already have but I'll wait and see what RT says.
