I guess you could say it was... *Sunglasses* ...a liberal fatality. *Audience groans* Since you guys suck at nominating things, we need to go into the future into the realm of second nominations to even find a proper matchup. 
In one corner we have Ice Penguin's pick from Final Fantasy 6, which (being Final Fantasy) needs no introduction. ...oh wait I already used that joke last round. 
In the other corner we have my pick from Tetri Voting closes Friday at 11 AM Pacific Time (GMT -8 or -9 or sumthing). NOMINATIONS ARE STILL OPEN. |

As far as people not knowing about this thread: there's not much I can do about it. Sure, I could just wait for people, but when those people see the slow pace of the thread, I doubt they'd be interested. I could pimp this thread in other threads, but I know that's considered a faux pas around here. The best thing that could happen is for this to be added to the PoRA box, but I can't do that (and apparently neither can you). Also, I'm voting for my own nomination because I'm an egotist. *Or until a staff member takes that responsibility upon himself. |

(The poll claims a score of 4-2 in FF6's favor, but I'm ignoring it on account of the fact Anyways, on to the next match. ... Uh-oh! We're out of nominations! Whatever will we do?!? a) Continue on as if nothing is happening and fill in the gaps with the extra nominations, random nominations of my own, and the occasional actual nomination that shows up. b) Repeal the "Opening Song" restriction (and possibly restart the contest). c) Replace the "Opening Song" restriction with a "Final Boss Death Sound Effect" restriction. d) End the contest entirely, burn the community to the ground, and salt the earth. e) Something completely different. 1) Start over, new thread, don't make it a "poll" using "&ispoll=1". Unless you want to make a thread for each round...
2) No song restrictions other than "must be from a video game" 3) No nomination # restriction unless more than a few people actually show any interest or someone is just being ridiculous and nominating 40 songs by themself. ____________________ |
