Yeah. Thinking over it again, 64 is way too much. I could increase the number of nominations per user, but that would merely protract the length of the contest.

So yeah, I'm halving the amount of total songs.

Why does it have to be from the opening of a video game?

I felt that having a theme would make it more interesting. If this goes over well enough, I can see us having music contests with other themes (eg Stage 1, Boss Fights, Bonus Stages, Credits, etc.).

The dothack song is a boring pretentious* song that is pretentious and boring. On the other hand, Final Fantasy 8 (while pretentious) at least has the gall to put a rather respectable effort into being engaging.

So yeah. I'm gonna have to vote for FF8 for this round. Granted, there are some better vocal songs you guys could have picked.
