I've seen some Vids of the 3ds, and i have to say, it's astonishing, but i also saw some vids of the new pokemon coming out.. will it be on the 3ds? ____________________ Time heals all wounds.. but so does a couple pain killers, anti-depressants, and some hard core metal. |

Pokemon Black and White, to my knowledge, will not be 3DS titles.
If they turn out to be 3DS, I will immediately begin to rage because I can't afford to drop any more money on a system. Even if I did have the money, the fact I just bought a DSi XL makes me more likely to put my money toward getting a Wii because I want a Wii more than I want a third DS. tl;dr If Black and White are 3DS, I guess I'll be missing out. |

ive heard in the oot remake they was gonna use orcastrated(my spelling sux :p) music. unless i misheard things, i hope they use zreo's remixes, has anyone heard their remixes? they know how to make some epic music. ____________________ YEAZ! Thats whats up. |

The 3DS seems definitely neat, I am truly impatient to see how that 3D screen thingy looks in real. Because all those screenshots are nice but well, they're not 3D screenshots, only flat images, so they might be fake (not to mention, a camera technically only has one "eye", and thus can only take flat pictures, unless they used some kind of 3D camera with two focuses or something...).

Posted by Luigi45000vr I might be totally wrong, but I think chances are that we get linkers just like for the DS. Especially if the software backend that reads the cartridge is as poorly coded as that software backend in the WiiOS that reads channels on the SD card.
And yeah, even if there's no exploit in the software backend, you can still go and open the console and slap in some chip that will let you use homebrew carts or whatever, but that's usually a risky operation. Personally I would avoid doing that. But well, you can make the console's OS as secure as you want, there will always be poorly coded games which can be exploited with a hacked save file. And well there's not much the OS can do against that, aside from getting patched as to detect a certain save file and remove it. First I thought that the 3DS was a bunch of bullcrap
and now i see its not it would be great if Nintendo put Super mario 64 DS on there think of the great grafics! (sorry i Spelt that wrong) but yeah it would be awesome realy because now that you an anolog stick thing But I know im getting a 3DS when it comes out ____________________ I have left... |

At first I thought "Wow 3D with no glasses!" And "Cool an OoT remake!", but now I think "Oh 3D without glasses, whatever..." or "Oh another overrated game getting remade." It's just lost it's touch. Plus, how do we know this 3D will be amazing? It could be that low quality stuff that just make things look like paper on your screen, but pop out.

Right. That, unless Nintendo took 3D pictures, and some of us have 3D monitors... otherwise, all we can see are flat pictures. Any of those flat pictures that show graphics popping out of the 3DS' screen would be a fake, done with cheap photoshop tricks.
Either way, I still can't wait to see what that 3D thing will look like. Posted by ninjablooperIn 3D games, 3D scenes are rendered twice, since humans see the world with two eyes after all. So there won't be a cheap pop-up effect like in "3D comics", some cheaper movies or pop-up books (which is mostly caused cause of the 3D effect being added afterwards). Of course since scenes are rendered twice, you basically halve the framerate for the 3D look. PC solutions for adding 3D to current games have the same problem, but to be honest we're reaching the point of diminishing returns anyway so 3D is the future. Hopefully the 3D is used in less gimmicky ways over the years too.
