Hi all,

I'm trying to edit the text in The Legend of Zelda NES. I've followed a tutorial in which the rom/table files have to be in the same location but when I open up the rom in a hex editor, the offsets and codes are shown but the output isn't showing correctly.

What exactly am I doing wrong? Could it be that I'm using the wrong OS (Windows 7) or something else?

EDIT:Also, I have used various hex editor such Hexposure, WindHex32, and Translhextion.

Probably because you did not take in consideration the line ends?
If I recall correctly, the last letter of the line must have bit 7 set...
This tells the engine to start another line...

EDIT: okay, never mind, I didn't read correctly. If you do it by hand, which is not that hard, you will have to consider this feature...

I see what you mean. As a matter of fact, I found a better .tbl file that I had to modify a little bit, the one I found before I made this thread had some errors.
Mods, close this thread, I've found my solution.
