	Take it. It says that it's "PhD certified". But the thing is, it's a website, and it's a .com site, as well. But it's still interesting to see what you get. Here's what I got. Quizzes from Tickle.com are frowned upon here. This has been posted quite a lot in the past.

I'm not taking this test again to re-find out my score, but IIRC it was ~14x, don't remember the last digit. I have my doubts about its accuracy as an IQ test though, as do many members who remember this from the last time it was posted.

I got the same as type Doritokiller. I got an IQ of 131.
I think this test is probably crap too.
And this thread may be overdone, but it's the first time I've ever taken an IQ test/participated in one of these threads.

And online-ones are completely unreliable too, I mean I recall some of the questions on that IQ-test not having to do with IQ at all. :/

IQ tests in general serve no other purpose than inflating one's ego. Supposedly, a score over 100 is "higher than average", even though practically everyone taking an online IQ test ends up with a 100+ score.

They're nothing but a waste of time.

www.iqtest.dk is about the most accurate IQ test you're going to find online. Anything else, from what I've seen, is utterly worthless.

	Yeah, I sort of established the fact that this is, in fact, crap. The .com, along with all the ads, and being online, all verify its fakeness. I was a bit vague about this in the first post, though... The Tickle "IQ" test is based on general knowledge questions, which aren't fair in the context of determining intelligence, only knowledge.

In other news, it's pretty much rigged. The scale tends to hover around 130-140, and you only get worse if you actually try to fail all the questions... I managed a 7x that way.

Of course, it's to make you "feel good" and want to buy the total stats chart they offer, since you can brag about it and such.

Is it even a total stats chart? All it looked like was a crappy piece of a paper that has your "score" on it, along with other "stats".

As for that slightly more accurate test, I got 102. I may have done some rushing on it, since I actually have something to do for once.

I scored 101. Funny, because honestly, as a child I scored over 130 (I think about 145) on an actual test from a psychologist.

I find that this test relies overly on visuals and logical thinking as opposed to other, social, mathematical, and reasoning elements key to someone's IQ.

On the Tickle test I got "Visionary Philospher" with 150 -- easy test (you can cheat too, theres answer keys to it out there...)

Also, I stopped to watch TV several times during the www.iqtest.dk test, and just started clicking things towards the end -- which both probably had a negative impact on my score.
