I didn't look terribly hard, but I imagine it'd be pretty cheap to just get a slot-1 (DS card) flashcart. There's probably some homebrew that'll boot to your slot-2 cart, or there's flashme which will boot to it automatically.

If you're interested, the store where I used to get that stuff was realhotstuff.com and they're still around.

I think M3s and passcards are no longer in production, which I think is stupid because it's the ultimate NDS/GBA flash card I've ever seen.

All I need is something to boot my M3 slot 2, so it doesn't really have to be a passcard as long as it boots up my M3 in DS mode.

From what I read, the EzFlash Vi can be used as a "passme" card, which can boot slot2 devices in DS mode. Since I have no access to a slot2 card, I can't confirm it.. but it's from a fairly good source.

Also fairly inexpensive, and a good card.

Edit: The code still seems to be in the EzVi cart, only requirement is holding L on bootup. Working for the firmware version I have. Also, attempting to boot a GBA cart that way results in a fail.

I think the connectors on my passcard might be rusted or stained or something.
I tried to clean it with rubbing alcohol but it still doesn't work anymore until like 100 tries.

If you boot off the slot 1 card, the RAM expansion homebrews will still be able to use the slot 2 cart for disk and expansion RAM if you DLDI patched them for it, I'm pretty sure.

Well I think the passcard boots up and redirects the DS to slot 2 in DS mode
