Last view: 2976 days 		If your linked to a Google based email on Youtube you need to log in with your email password. I use a shared account for a site under my email which I don't want the password to out there and I can't even change which email the account is linked to.

Well, I get a notification now and then "U MUST LINK UR YT ACCOUNT WITH UR GMAIL ACCOUNT", and I say "No, thanks, go away", so I haven't faced any problem.

Now, Youtube has been being ruined since February 2009, when they changed the User's page to an ugly mess that has been getting worse over time, Youtube from back on Jan 2009 was just perfect (what complain could you have about it? it even sorted comments by date!)

And recently they ruined the videos page (besides the usual complaints, you need to scroll to read the video's description, they changed the algorithm of related videos so that you'll very soon reach a wall of videos you already saw or ones that aren't even related to what you were watching, it's most difficult to find the video of the same user that you want to watch next, etc...)

Maybe you're blaming Google too much, it bought Youtube in 2006 and there was at least a 2 year lapse where they didn't mess up anything, then they did, but since the sucking didn't start back then maybe it would have happened anyway.

Also, the 'new' profile pages are so slow when I want to look for another video when one is playing, I see nothing wrong with the old one...

Try using it with a touch screen to skip to a point. Hard to do, but I don't mind anything overall.

Last view: 5 hours 		is there anyway to stop that stupid shit from happening where if i move my mouse ANYWHERE on my whole monitor screen, that stupid fucking little animation of the pause/play, volume, and time bar thing expand outward and shit....it even happens if i press the up or down volume arrows on my keyboard, that stupid fucking bar expands outward, then back in ...

it seriously annoys the shit out of me, or is it impossible to do anything about it ?

It only happens if the player has focus and you do something to it, so if you click outside of it then it shouldn't respond to accidental hitting of keys.
