tldr: Just ask a question and Genyo will answer!

Short story long: Genyo was born in year 2004 of our time line, but at very early age, his self from the future traveled in time to grab him and give his young self to a family in the very, very remote future (from, by necessity, a different time line). He learned a lot of stuff and became a famous scientist, 80 years later, he traveled back in time to grab his young self and give him to a family 80 years on his past.

Later on he was interested in the events that happened around the date of his birth, and made contact with Uly, a forum poster from TEKHacks.net forums, that helped Genyo to know interesting events of the present (2005), and in exchange, Genyo agreed to create an Ask Anything thread, that was common of the time, so people of the remote past could ask him questions.

Genyo died when TEKHacks died.

Years later, Genyo's ghost made a contact again, and agreed to create a Ask Anything thread, this time on Googie's Board (hosted at Romendo).

When Googie's Board was swept, Genyo's ghost went to a better place...

But recently a clone of Genyo has made contact (he has claimed that he is the original one, and that the dead one was WAS the clone, but to avoid confusion between, huh, me and my clone, let's say he's the clone), and he has agreed to answer questions posted on this thread, so fire away!

TL: "Oh, we have one, Quick Curly from Earth wants to know if that is a true story."

Genyo: "What story?"

TL: "The one where I tell about how these threads started, how we made contact and all that."

Genyo: "Ah, the story about my clone dying... well, let's say that the story is true on my timeline, in yours is just what people of your time called... 'fiction', or what people reading it would qualify as 'B.S.', though I don't remember what those letters meant..."

TL: "Anyway, the part about previous ask Genyo anything threads at TEKHacks and Googie's Board is entirely true."

Genyo: "By the way Uly, I told you to not give any details and start with a simple 'Just ask a question and Genyo will answer!', or equivalent, the story distracts from the questions."

TL: "Sorry about that."

Genyo: "Not exactly, the original Ask Genyo Anything thread was a duplicate of Anya's thread ('Ask Anya'), from back in 2005, though I really doubt it was her original idea. This thread is a sequel of the sequel of that thread."
