I've never played any MH games, but I have always wanted to. I've already preordered the bundle and am anxiously counting down until release. Anyone else getting this that wants to play online? (Oh yea, and online play is FREE outside of Japan)

So, my friend White Dragon practically forced me to get into Monster Hunter. It came out yesterday, and White, along with everyone else, has told me how totally awesome it is. I had to spend the money I was saving up for it on fixing my computer, which I find more important. But it does seem pretty fun. Maybe not as fun as Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, though, which is the only one I legally own.

Anyone here played it yet?

Last view: 4807 days 		This is my first MH game to ever play, and it has got me hooked bad. Going around murdering giant beasts with a switchaxe is incredibly fun. My roommate also got it and has her own Wii, so we play in seperate televisions online and go out hunting.

If anyone else wants to come out hunting sometime, just send a Friends request to Flowen in game and say you are from board2.

We should all go out murdering!

Well, at least we don't have the friggin' pay. The Japanese have to pay to play online in MH3.

I guess they decided Americans don't care about MH enough to pay a lot for online play so they made it free here (and Europe too), while keeping it pay-for-play in Japan. Which would be complete BS to me if I was Japanese.

Last view: 4807 days 		I'll have to look up my friend code sometime. You can friend ppl ingame by just sending them a request, however. If anyone wants to play, My char is Flowen (case sensitive). Person does have to be on, however, to use the character search function, but I've been on a lot the past week. Got full Ceadeus and now need to get my HR up online to upgrade it anymore.
