Did more NX today. Bust Back NM and Rolling Christmas NM are very fun. So is Do You Know That -old school- FS and CZ.

Also managed to pass Do It Yourself Another NM today twice! Both times with a D, but still. That's an odd chart. Also tried to pass For You Another FS as well, but the freeze at the end gets me.

...then again, having a freeze pattern that goes

Nice theme, AJ. It works well and it looks very simplistic. However, whenever I go to play a song, it shows Event Mode, fades to the song background, and then comes up with a message about the command "diffusealpha" not existing or something like that. Another one pops up after that about an invalid parameter with "diffusealpha." Only thing I noticed wrong with it.

Also, the theme has an AVI as the background. Might slow down... uh, older computers (it did with my laptop). I only noticed it did that during Edit Mode the last beta.

I did add RAM (384MB total now) to this POS and I do have a 256MB vid card...

...just only have a Pentium III 1.0GHz...

I don't know why diffusealpha would error like that. I don't see it in mine, and I have it set to show ALL errors.

One of the unmentioned features is being able to swap out the video for a static BG. You'd have to manually edit BGAnimation.ini in BGAnimations/_shared background though.
(if you do, you'll see another undocumented feature)

Been looking through music for the past four hours and I've made some changes in terms of the software I use to browse MAME/Arcade data (using BridgeM1 now; it's up-to-date and has a VERY good library on what music is titled what).

Think I've got a few ideas of what I'm going to be doing coming up after Ultimix 3 supposedly goes through. I've cut Razorback [No. 666 Mix], beautifully I might add, to about 2:14. That would be one idea.

Another one I've had is to update the one Orochi thing I did way back in DOD 5 from KOF '97, with a remix from KOF 2002. I may yet re-release that one with a better rip of the original and maybe a redone stepfile and call it a v.1.1. At least I know the title to it now, Rhythmic Hallucination. I've got a library stemming from KOF 97-00, and 02 now for that.

There have been a few Diverse tracks that I've considered simming, with some help from CPU in terms of sparking said interest. I'm not sure if I'll get to one soon enough or not.

I do have Cannon Angel in mind one of these days and I do have to get V and Destiny [Long] finished up eventually. I don't know what I'll do for those two. The response back from either of these two has been dreadfully low, which hasn't really sparked my interest in getting them done.

If I had to guess which one came next, it'd be either the Razorback one, this Orochi file, or maybe I may get around to getting Paradox -Disarray Mix- simmed since I have the graphics to that one. Hell, I've had graphics for Quantum and DX05 but that was over two years ago and I've still never simmed either.

I'm in a slump until I get my 'writing project' done...so I may just hold off on anything until mid-month. I do actually have a few priorities IRL I should consider sorting out first before this, but at least you know I'm throwing some ideas out.

Just to let you know, I'm highly considering simming S8 (did the graphics yesterday), BAD BOY BASS (Switch back to 93 mix), and maybe something else that I don't know yet. Not to mention some IIDX Gold stuff.

I know I'm going to finish the Heavy steps for some of these by Sunday so I can use them on r21 when I go to Islands of Adventure on Monday. Should still have R&P and Rama Gardens 1.5 converted for that. Need to add in a few more.

Length is no problem, really. I use the OGG patcher thing to play longer songs. Plus I have two USB keys so I can add in some variety on them. Sounds a bit like a fun file from the difficutlies.

Its r21. Has been for some time. It was r21 at Grad Bash in April. It was r21 a few weeks ago when I went. It should still be r21 when I go again... hopefully.

I think I may get at least two or three songs with Heavy done tonight if I keep at it. Yay. Then I just have to work on the other difficulties and they will be finished. Innocent just needs Light and Standard complete, really. The other two I'm working on at the moment are a 10 and a 9. Going to be... interesting to say the least.

Uh, yeah, I only got part 1 done. Can't download part 2 due to MegaUpload being a pain in the ass and only allowing a certain limit reached without telling you to wait. I downloaded it this morning, can't resume the second part until 10 o'clock tonight.

But from what I've played, its varied. I think that is what makes the pack unique, really. Just a lot of different music styles with unique steps per person.

Some could use some more work though. =\

Well, that's the same for me; I'm leeching off of RS's comps. I may be able to get them by tomorrow but I doubt it.

And yea, I kinda figured it'd be half-and-half. We're probably three of a select few that actually submitted something that was worth people's times...oh yea and were to a point where you could actually play them when they were in sync.
