Posted by ValkyrieYou tested B.O.B for me way back, you know I stay on sync. And I'm not a fan of 3+ steps. Never used them and I most likely never will. I still can't figure out why the link is teh bustered. Oh, and Kles, if you didn't like that, I'd stay away from Hyper-Oni... Heavy as a few, but it's a tad easier. EDIT: fixed a mistake on Hyperventilation. If you DL'd, please DL again. (06-20-07 11:47 AM Western Time) |

Oh I wasn't talking about you at all, SWR. I'm just talking about certain simfiles I've seen that make something that should be DDR-like into IIDX. If you wanted that, then do that...don't bring retarded 3-4 hand overkills into something that would never be padded. It's not right. :\
Not that I can't do some of them, but I'd rather play something as retarded as Reality than I would something that I have to button mash 3-4 keys at once. Not to say I'VE never used hands. In fact, Disconnected ZEO Expert uses a few. But that doesn't mean I overkill and use 100+ hands in a single file that lasts a minute either. |

SWR:
Took a look at Oni and I wasn't too happy with it. I AA'd it no problem and the sync is pretty much not a problem but you do have some rather odd patterns added in that I attribute to 'lol' syndrome. It happens with all of us. Basically you put in runs that make no sense and get carried away because the music is awesome. The awkward jump placements on beats and the end 16th run into fade are a few examples. There's no background and it seems that "Rabite's Revenge" is who you got the sim from originally (given the #TITLE: field). Might wanna do some more work on that next time. :\ Overall, if you submitted it the way it was now, I'd probably give it a 6 or a 7. For a keyboard sim, it's about average and there are some things in it that just go a little too overboard to be used in a sim such as this. Too much pace for notes that just weren't there. |

Posted by ValkyrieNoted. I understand where you're coming from. I guess I'll kill Heavy, and just keep Oni, but lighten a few parts up so it's more enjoyable overall. And yes, I forgot to change the CD title. It's funny, the main reason I did this sim was because Rabite did it SO BADLY! It was at some random BPM and I saw a lot of 1/64th notes having me assume he just did a record and tried to make it right. I'll do some major fixes on this, thanks for the commenting. |

Posted by spel werdz rite Doesn't really surprise me. I've seen some by him before and I about busted a gut laughing at it. Good taste, bad steps. |

That one took some time. I could have done better on some parts, but I didn't. And yes, this is my way of saying I really like the sim. 10/10 Hiryuu! |

Keep in mind, places (such as Viriginia) have actually bought DDR cabs FOR their schools. I recall said state getting about 700-800 of these for that use.
I mean it really does do something to you if you practice consistently enough. I sure know that for a fact after stopping that and getting away from bike riding. I used to be in shape, somewhat. :\ |

Well, yes, but do remember that I live in a state that goes "Wait, education? What's that, lol?"
(49th in the nation, second only to some stupid redneck state) But yes, I did read about some school buying a bunch of DDR machines. I owuldn't be suprised, but I'd hate to see a PE class based entirely off of DDR grades... ____________________ I dealt with it. |

48th was Arkansas at a time.
They moved up to 10th this year. Shows how they're actually progressing down here. |

Posted by Xkeeper Newspaper locally. Statistic was shown a few weeks ago because Arkansas has a fuckload more testing being shoved down the kids' necks around here. I'll have to look it up when I get a chance. |
