It's also compatible with Photoshop as well (Can save as PSD).

I myself use Sai, and very rarely use the vector mode. If I need vector lines, I just copy it over to Photoshop and vector it there.

The pen smoothing, and the ability to rotate the canvas like a piece of paper is VERY helpful.

Pen smoothing is in MSX4, if you're talking about the same thing I think you are, as is paper rotation. I sometimes trigger it by accident when trying to scroll horizontally.
